1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the SmartTutor website and services operated by SmartTutor Pte. Ltd. (“SmartTutor”). By using our services you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

SmartTutor provides (a) an AI tutor, (b) matching with human tutors, and (c) AI-assisted teaching. We clearly indicate when you are interacting with AI versus a human.

3. Eligibility & parental consent

Services for students who are minors must be arranged and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account and for consenting on the child’s behalf.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

We provide syllabus-aligned practice and qualified tutors designed to help students improve. We do not guarantee any specific grade, score or result; educational outcomes depend on each student’s effort and circumstances.

5. AI limitations

AI features can occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. They are a study aid, not a substitute for professional or academic judgement. Please verify important information.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the services, including by attempting to disrupt them, infringing others’ rights, or using them for unlawful purposes.

7. Payments

Where human tutoring is arranged, fees and payment terms are confirmed at matching. Any AI plan fees are as stated on our pricing page.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within our services is owned by or licensed to SmartTutor and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SmartTutor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the services.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
